One of the most applied value scales in research is personal shopping (PSV) by Babin, Darden, and Griffin (1994). PSV assesses consumers’ experiences along hedonic utilitarian value. The purpose this corroboration original article scale to investigate impact past 25 years on scale’s dimensionality item composition. mirrors store environment, while an extension additionally considers two contemporary environments: online websites mobile apps. Results across six studies confirm value’s two-dimensional structure work fun. However, individual items capturing deviate from number nature for current stores, online, apps environments. Researchers practitioners should exhibit caution blindly administer or adapt measures without considering temporal contextual aspects that limit its applicability.
